Summer News – Tango y Nada Mas

The last two months have been so busy that we have not had time to write for a while!  But we have had a marvellous Summer so far and wanted to share a few of the highlights here.

June – We were invited to be a part of Taste of London this year, performing every day alongside food and wine companies from Argentina and Latin America.  The weather was scorching but the crowd were amazing. Videos to follow…

1 July – Art Night

Tango y Nada Mas were invited to take part in Art Night on 1 July 2017. Artist Melanie Manchot curated a project combining the many dance forms to be found in East London and a group of us representing Tango y Nada Mas, danced through the streets from the Water Poet to Exchange square where Luis and I taught a Tango lesson on what seemed to be an inflatable mattress!!  Quite an experience and what a crowd!!!!

The next day we did a taster lesson and performance for local residents in Peckham as part of the Big Lunch

Also in July, we were invited to perform as part of Comida Fest, taking place in Greenwich, a wonderful setting in front of the Cutty Sark. Videos to follow 🙂
