As mentioned last week, for those of you who were there, and some news for those of you who were not, next Monday 12th September we have reserved some tables upstairs in the Water Poet, from 7pm onwards where we will share a brief history of Tango and how it developed along with a summary of some of the orquestras and what makes them distinctive.
It will be an open, informal discussion with lots of time and opportunity to ask questions and share your views.
For those of you who are new to tango it will provide a useful introduction to the music and for those of you with many years of experience it is an opportunity to share your views with others.
So come along for a social, informative evening. Get to know your fellow tangueros better and learn about the music with time we do not normally have in a practical class setting.
The following week, Monday 19th September, we will be back in the Cellar bar for our normal classes and practica.
The talk is free, just bring yourself and buy a drink!
