AUGUST 9th – 10th 2025 We are pleased, once again, to be joining Leo and Tracey at the next edition of the Dorset Tango Festival! This time we will be at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne Minster in Dorset.
There are 2 lovely rooms with simultaneous workshops and 3 teaching couples attending. There will also be The Grand evening Milonga on Saturday night and the afternoon Milonga on the Sunday afternoon to finish.
We are pleased to announce the return of our London classes starting Monday 7th July at The Chamberlain Hotel near Tower Bridge! 132-135 Minories, London EC3N 1NU.
It’s just north of Tower Bridge, walking distance from Tower Hill and Tower Gateway, Fenchurch street to the south and Aldgate to the North. Also close to Aldgate East, Whitechapel and Liverpool street. There is paid parking opposite £5:30/£4.50 for the whole evening (depending on type of vehicle)
For the month of July we will trial the venue and the timings of the classes etc and welcome feedback during this time. From Monday 7th July we will teach:
7:15-8:15pm – Technique/Improvers-Intermediate
8:20-9:20pm – Advanced
9:20-10/10:30pm – Practica
We may also run a trial fundamentals/beginners class for 45 minutes from 6:30pm but will confirm in due course.
We will charge £15 drop in and £25 for any two classes (if we add the fundamentals you can add this as a third class for free). HOWEVER we will re-introduce the block booking system of buying 6 classes in advance. This brings the cost down to £10 per single class, £20 for two.
The dancing space is where the tables are and they will be removed. There is a bar available throughout the evening.
We hope you will be able to join us at this new venue!
We had a wonderful evening in Malmesbury last weekend and were very impressed with how tangueros dressed up for the evening! here are a few photos from the evening…
We love working with Leo and Tracey and we will be together again in August (9th & 10th) in Wimbourne for a weekend festival 🙂
In April we continued with our residency at Tango Warwick but we also went back to Cardiff and spent the day and evening with Two Turn Tango at an amazing venue in Cardiff Bay. We taught workshops during the day and did a performance during the evening – videos to follow.
In May we have been super busy with Warwick, Tango Cafe in London, Tango by the Sea in Felixstowe and finally last weekend the England International Tango Festival in Brighton. Phew! We taught six workshops over the weekend and ended with a performance at the Grand Milonga on Saturday evening – again videos to follow.
So what does June have to offer us?
June, Saturday 7th
Well the first exciting event of the month is that we are back in Malmesbury with the final edition of the Tango Intensives roadshow with Leo and Tracey Acosta. This event was postponed last year due to storms in the area which made it inaccessible.
The event is a themed ball (1920’s’30’s & masked too if you can) dress to impress and just turn up to dance, from 7:30-11pm. A welcome drink will be waiting for you, with some nibbles and you can also bring your own! Malmesbury is an amazing historic town and well worth the visit.
We are back in Warwick on Fridays 13, 20 & 27 and in Tango Cafe, London on 14 & 21.
Finally, we may have found a new venue for our weekly class in London….. the next post will have more information!
Time has a habit of passing so rapidly! We last up-dated the page in August and were so busy that we’ve only just realised and there is lots of news!
Between September to December last year we:
visited Clevedon and Chipping Norton as the final two places in 2024 of the Tango Intensives Roadshow with Leo and Tracey Acosta. We still have one more left on Saturday 7th June, our Masked Ball in Malmesbury (further details will be published soon).
Returned for more workshops with Tango Northampton – (Darren and Zoe Taylor) and has a fabulous time. We will be returning this year 🙂 (see below)
We continued our residency in Tango Warwick, every Friday evening and at Tango Cafe in London twice a month, we returned to Norfolk to teach an afternoon of workshops, taught and performed at a fabulous weekend with Tango Unplugged at The Ark and were part of the team for the Bournemouth Aires festival in November.
Then… we went on our annual trip to Buenos Aires for December and January and that’s why we were so quiet! We had a fantastic time in the sun, in the local Milongas, teaching classes and performing. We have posted videos on Facebook and will be uploading various videos from 2024 on our You Tube channel.
2025
And so, now we are back and we have lots of plans for the coming months. The first dates for the diary are:

Yes we know! We were so busy at the end of last year that we didn’t have time to search for new venues, but rest assured this still is our intention and we will keep you up-dated with our progress in due course!
We might be having a short holiday from our London classes but we are still busy. Here’s just a few things that we have planned for August:
Wednesday 7 August – Visiting Reading Tango Club
It’s not far from London!
Fridays 9, 16, 23 & 30 Warwick Tango classes
There are still four Fridays in the month to visit Tango Warwick and the lovely warm and welcoming group. We teach three levels throughout the evening and there is also a practica with refreshments too!
Tango Cafe – Saturdays 10th and 17th
London Goes Tango at The Scoop – Sunday 11th
We will be performing during the afternoon/early evening. We have our fingers crossed for the weather but its a great opportunity to show others why we love Tango so much and to encourage new people to give it a go.
Well July has already started and we have already been working around the UK. Last Saturday 6th July saw our 3rd Tango Intensives roadshow and this time we were back in Devizes. We did a workshop for both followers and leaders in the afternoon followed by a combined workshop to work on the things we did separately. Everyone was able to wander around the town a little and sample it’s delights before the evening Milonga.
Our next Roadshow event will be in Clevedon on 31st August and bookings are now open!
Wednesday 10 July – Last class at The Castle
We are sad to say that Wednesday 10 July will be our last group classes at The Castle. We were very happy there and the staff and venue were amazing but unfortunately it is too small for our classes and so we are going to take an early Summer break whilst we arrange things with a new venue and will re-start after Summer in a new space.
In this new venue we hope to restart our fundamentals class too, so watch this space for news on the venue and dates.
In the meantime we will be focusing on VALS on Wednesday so do come and join us say farewell. (It might not be a complete goodbye as we may use the space for small focused group classes and private lessons 🙂 )
Fridays 12th, 19th and 26th – Tango Warwick
You can find us on these Fridays at St Mary’s Church in Leamington Spa where we have a wonderful, warm and welcoming community of dancers waiting for you! Classes start at 6:30pm and continue until 9:30 when we have a practica for an hour as well as wine and cake 🙂 Full details can be found on the classes page.
Well, the weather has finally made us hope that we may have a summer and we have another busy month ahead of us. So here’s an up-date on our activities in the next month.
Tango Warwick – Fridays 14th, 21st and 28th June
Our Tango Warwick classes in Leamington Spa are flourishing and the community is growing. Each Friday, we welcome new people as well as regulars who have been coming for years. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful committed group who all support each other. If you live close by, the first class of the evening starts at 6:30pm, this follows immediately into the second class for improvers and to focus on more technique and the last class starts at 8:30pm. Finally, every week there is a practica with refreshments and we stay to dance and help.
Tango Cafe at Fresh Ground – Clapham
We are back at Tango Cafe on Saturday 8th June and Saturday 22 June. We teach an hour’s class from 3-4pm followed by a Milonga until 8pm with wonderful music from Katerina. Clapham has great access from the overground and road and also has lots of parking nearby.

We had a great time in Devizes last month and we are now proud to present the second in our series of events, this time in the beautiful town of Malmesbury. Tango y Nada Mas London up-date
After a short time at The Castle, we will be moving on before long continuing the search to find a home that’s right for all of us. This last week many of you have helpfully replied to me with feedback on what we could do to make things better and we are taking that feedback and will be changing a few things in the next couple of months. So, watch this space for our new dates, new venue and other changes too!
We will be starting a whole new beginners course too and dates will be up soon.
